We Need Change in America
I am not a political person but I must say this next presidential election has gotten my attention big time. I can feel the economy slipping with each fill up at the gas pump. I can feel the economy slipping with each trip to the grocery store. I watch the news and Barbieandken the horrors spilled out in red blood on the battle fields.
I am being hit where I can feel it. The presidential campaign has come into my space. insurance quotes on line is evading my space. The issues are so complex I do not know how any one person - with the help of experts from all walks of life - can ever truly put the American ortho back on track. Even with the elections breathing down our necks whoever is elected will have a fight on his hands to understand what is going on in this complex world we live in.
Our presidential choices are Republican John McCain, and Democratic Barack Obama. Does it really matter if they are a Democratic or Republican. The Senate and Congress need to pull together to rebuild the structure of our government.
After the presidential election do we as a people think everything will be okay right away? We can not believe that. It will take a good year for the new president whoever that will be just to put together their main cash for structured settlements in this world of politics. Meanwhile, the war rages on.
More and more military are being killed and maimed. The families are being torn apart both in battle and on the home front.
I have deep feelings in this next election. I do know the economy can not go on like it is. People are losing their jobs. This is followed by losing their homes. The next step is their cars.
The government cannot afford to have the masses of people on unemployment. Something needs to be done. We need a Hugh change in our government. In our leaders.
Once we have an elected President, we need to stand behind this man and support him even though we did not vote for him. We must stand united once again. We are the people of the United States.
